The measured results of spread-spectrum IP test in known gold mining areas are in good agreement with borehole disclosure information
The experiment of deep prospecting was carried out by spread spectrum IP in a known mining area in Hunan Province. 40 measuring points were set up with 540m measuring line length and 15m point distance. The results show that this method can extract geophysical anomaly information effectively. The details are as follows:
By comparing the ore-finding information of borehole, the abnormal form of high polarization from shallow to deep in the middle section of spread spectrum IP sounding profile has a good correspondence with the occurrence of Au ore body exposed by borehole. The validity of the spread spectrum IP method in gold exploration is verified.
