The electromagnetic interference (including the electromagnetic interference of underground mining, concentrator and smelter) in the VMS mining area of Baiyin Factory in Gansu Province is strong, and the imported IP instrument worth more than 2 million yuan cannot collect reliable data, and the inversion is not convergent. The spread spectrum IP method has been verified in this area, and the abnormal shape of IP is consistent with the height of orebody revealed by verification drilling, and the effective exploration depth is more than 1000 meters.
