Specimen tester to mine core test, distinguish ore and surrounding rock

来源: 2024-03-27

It can be seen from the spectrum response of chalcopyrite and orebody surrounding rock samples in the construction area that the complex resistivity spectrum curve of chalcopyrite and other rock samples presents the characteristics of low resistance and high polarization. It can be seen from the screenshot that there is an obvious polarization phenomenon in the low frequency part, and its resistivity is affected by the content and degree of connectivity of mineral components. From the inversion results, the time constant τ1 is obviously greater than that of non-mineral surrounding rock samples such as basalt and tuff (the larger the time constant τ is, the more the peak point of phase shifts to the low frequency direction), which is an important parameter to distinguish ore-bearing samples from surrounding rock. Volcanic rocks such as basalt and tuff show the characteristics of high resistance and low polarization on the spectrum curve, and the polarization phenomenon is weak at the low frequency. Therefore, the SSIP data collection at a frequency below 0.1Hz in this working area can well identify chalcopyrite and other rock ore types.
