GSAI Geophysics was invited to participate in ICEEG2024 Shenzhen Conference
The 11th International Conference on Environmental and Engineering Geophysics (ICEEG2024 Shenzhen, China) was held in Shenzhen Southern University of Science and Technology from June 27 to 30, 2024. GSAI Geophysics was invited to participate in the exhibition as a leader in instrument research and development in the industry.

The conference is a biennial international gathering in the field of geophysics. With the theme of "Human Settlements and Shallow Surface Geophysics", the conference discusses how to study and solve environmental and engineering problems through geophysical means, so as to pursue the harmonious development of human and nature. The conference focused on the latest research results of seismic, electromagnetic, radar and other methods in shallow surface geophysics technology, showing the application progress in urban and disaster, hydrology and environment, engineering investigation, as well as new geophysics methods and technologies such as optical fiber, artificial intelligence, and UAV.
Opening Ceremony of the Conference
The conference invited 10 outstanding scholars from Asia, America and Europe to give keynote speeches and conference reports, and 16 young researchers made special invited reports. More than 260 delegates from all over the country and abroad attended the conference, including 172 registered representatives. There were 83 oral reports and 75 posted reports, and 10 companies and manufacturers exhibited their latest technical achievements and various new geophysical instruments and software during the conference.

Exchange of experts and scholars
As a bright spot of the conference, GSAI with its cutting-edge geophysical exploration equipment stunning appearance. Among them, the GSZA-FW01 high-precision full-waveform impedance analyzer for rock ore specimens has won the warm attention of the participants for its accurate analysis ability of rock physical properties. The GSEM-W10 broad-band magnetotelluric system, with its excellent electromagnetic field detection and imaging technology, shows a new height of deep geological structure detection; The GS2IP large-depth spread spectrum IP system, with its unique signal processing technology, has opened up a new application prospect in the field of mineral resources exploration.
Associate Professor Chen Rujun introduced the latest GSTEM instrument to the experts
It is particularly worth mentioning that the GSTEM transient electromagnetic instrument developed by GSAI has also made its first public appearance at this exhibition. The GSTEM transient electromagnetic instrument adopts the multi-send and multi-receive mode to improve the quality of detection data and can accurately explore shallow geological bodies. Its innovative design concept and excellent performance index have quickly attracted the strong interest and in-depth discussion of many well-known international scholars and industry experts.
International experts and scholars exchange at the company's booth
During the exhibition, the booth of GSAI became a popular area for communication. Associate Professor Chen Rujun of Central South University, as the technical consultant of GSAI, personally went into the field. With his profound academic foundation and rich practical experience, he elaborated the technical details and application examples of various products to experts and scholars from all over the world, which won highly praise. This is not only a strong proof of the innovation strength of GSAI, but also a significant increase in its influence in the field of global geophysical exploration.
The complete success of the ICEEG2024 conference marks a solid step forward in promoting the "going out" strategy of geophysical exploration instruments and technical services. Shallow surface is an important area closely related to human production and life, and it is also one of the most complex, sensitive and fragile areas on the earth. In recent years, with the rapid growth of population and the acceleration of global urbanization, human activities in shallow surface have increased significantly. Especially in China, the urbanization process is developing rapidly at an unprecedented rate, and the impact of human activities on shallow surface is increasingly significant. Therefore, "CT" and "B-ultrasound" of the shallow surface underground space using constantly innovative geophysical technologies is essential for the reasonable protection and safe utilization of the shallow surface environment inhabited by humans. And GSAI will further help to promote the development of shallow surface geophysical technology in the direction of friendly and harmonious human settlement and environment.
