For the first time, the spread spectrum IP method was successfully introduced into the accurate detection of hidden fire source in Chongqing Research Institute of China Coal Science
Recently, the fire prevention research and development team of China Coal Science and Technology Chongqing Research Institute gave full play to the innovative ideas of multi-professional integration, and for the first time introduced the array spread spectrum induced electric geophysical prospecting technology into the detection of hidden fire sources in coal mines, realizing the multivariate, accurate and fast detection of coal fire areas.

Accurate and rapid detection of hidden fire source has always been a problem in the industry. Through the study of the change law of stration-related characteristics caused by coal fire, the research and development team introduced the spread spectrum IP technology into the detection of hidden fire source, formed the "gas-temperature-radon-electricity" composite detection technology system, and realized the fusion and automatic processing of multiple detection information. The accuracy of hidden fire source detection is improved by more than 10%, and the detection period is shortened by half. It provides opportunities for the decision-making and implementation of fire area management, makes the selection of control measures more targeted, and improves the success rate of fire area management.
The related technology has been successfully applied in Shaanxi, Inner Mongolia, Xinjiang and other coal mines, and has been praised by customers. The technology can also be used in the survey of hidden disaster-causing factors, fire area detection, fire area treatment and effect test, and other scenarios, with broad application prospects.
In the future, the Chongqing Research Institute will continue to study the evolution mechanism of coal combustion in confined space, and help the research on the precise detection technology of hidden fire sources to a new level.
