GSAI Concludes a Successful Showcase at the 2026 China International Mining Conference Connecting Global Mining Through Geophysical Innovation

    On September 12, the three-day 2026 (28th) China International Mining Conference concluded at the Tianjin Meijiang Convention and Exhibition Center. GIANT SEQUOIA AI TECHNOLOGY (CHANGSHA) LTD. (GSAI Geophysics) showcased its independently developed geophysical exploration instruments, rock-physics testing equipment, and integrated technical solutions at Booth 1526. Throughout the event, the GSAI team held in-depth exchanges with mining companies, geological exploration organizations, research institutions, and industry partners on topics including deep mineral exploration, interference-resistant measurements in complex environments, broadband electromagnetic surveying, spread-spectrum induced polarization (SSIP), electrical-property testing of rock and ore samples, and geophysical data processing and interpretation. Through on-site equipment demonstrations, case-study presentations, and one-on-one technical discussions, GSAI gained a clearer understanding of practical needs across different mining areas and exploration settings, while also establishing channels for continued communication and cooperation with more industry partners.

    Three Days in Focus: Deep Exploration and Complex-Environment Applications at the Center of Discussion

As mineral exploration continues to move deeper and into areas with complex overburden and strong interference, the industry is placing higher demands on investigation depth, weak-signal acquisition, interference resistance, field efficiency, and data quality. During the conference, discussions between the GSAI team and professional visitors focused particularly on deep metallic-mineral exploration, data acquisition under complex industrial interference, integrated multi-method exploration, adaptability to overseas mine-site conditions, and the relationship between rock-physics parameters and geophysical anomalies.

    These project-level discussions also reinforced a clear trend: users are no longer focused solely on individual instrument specifications. They increasingly value system stability, field operational efficiency, data interpretability, and, ultimately, whether the technology can solve real exploration problems. For GSAI, the conference was more than a venue to showcase products and technologies; it also provided an important opportunity to validate user needs face to face, gather feedback, and support continued product iteration.

GSAI's In-House-Developed Equipment: From Field Exploration to Rock-Physics Testing

    To address practical needs across different commodities, exploration stages, and complex geological settings, GSAI continues to build an integrated technical system spanning field data acquisition, rock-physics testing, data processing, and comprehensive interpretation. In spread-spectrum induced polarization, the company continues to advance the development and application of its GS2IP series for deep exploration requiring high precision, greater investigation depth, and strong interference resistance. In electromagnetic exploration, the GSEM series of IoT-enabled broadband magnetotelluric systems supports multiple survey methods, including AMT, CSAMT, MT, LMT, and CSEM. Together with GSAI's spread-spectrum electromagnetic measurement systems, these instruments provide more flexible technical options for electromagnetic exploration under varying field conditions.

    At the same time, GSAI continues to improve its equipment for measuring the electrical properties and complex impedance of rock and ore samples, enabling closer comparison between field geophysical anomalies and the intrinsic electrical properties of geological samples. Combining field surveys with laboratory rock-physics testing can provide additional evidence for anomaly identification, discrimination between ore-related and non-ore responses, model constraints, and subsequent optimization of exploration programs.

    The integrated display at the conference also gave more industry professionals a direct view of GSAI's evolution from standalone instruments toward integrated geophysical solutions. The approach goes beyond improving hardware performance by integrating survey methods, software-based processing, data interpretation, and engineering services into real projects.

Selecting the appropriate IP, EM, or other methods; designing survey lines and acquisition parameters; improving weak-anomaly detection; and using multi-source information for processing, inversion, and integrated interpretation are all critical to achieving effective project outcomes.

    Based on this understanding, GSAI continues to advance an integrated "equipment + methods + software + services" model. Depending on project needs, the company can contribute to preliminary data review, technical workflow design, data acquisition and quality control, processing and inversion, integrated interpretation, and final deliverables, with rock-physics testing used where needed to further validate key anomalies.
